Orlando restaurants by area
Orlando dining in a nutshell
Orlando has one of the largest restaurant scenes in the country, built to feed tens of millions of visitors a year. Most visitors eat in three places: the theme parks, International Drive and Disney Springs. Locals eat in Winter Park, the Mills 50 district, downtown and along Sand Lake Road's "Restaurant Row" in Dr. Phillips. Orlando is also Darden Restaurants' hometown. Darden owns Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Yard House and more, so many familiar chains have their flagships here.
Since 2022 the MICHELIN Guide has covered Orlando, and several local restaurants hold stars or Bib Gourmand recognition. That makes it easy to find a special dinner away from the parks.
